There is a certain appeal of the simplicity of a minimalist ensemble. A well put together outfit that looks effortless and polished. If I didn't have a strong penchant for colors and textures, I would be found in black and white at all times. So I would happily settle with a balanced rotation of bright colors and muted tones.
A hat has the ability to amp up the "cool-chic" factor to a look. It elevates an otherwise simple look and makes it very modern, yet classic and polished. My favorite addition to a minimalist look is a hat in a neutral color. A color blocked hat? Even better. Style mavens and fashion icons have made this trend swoon worthy!
A simple shift dress and a classic black sleeveless vest plus black chunky heels are timeless, yet very on trend this past spring and summer. Adding accessories with a subtle pattern is a clever way to add texture to any minimalist look. Using a purse with a muted animal print makes this look even more interesting!
