Well Off-the Shoulder

There is a certain appeal about Chicago, a vast city filled with brick mortars, high-rises and a rambunctious assortment of people. The strategic use of flowers in multiple locations during the summer to soften the cold exterior of glass panels and iron clad railings.
It adds a wistful romantic air to the busy city. This played well to my advantage when we happened upon a bed of flowers almost identical to the floral pattern on this particular off-the shoulder look! Sweet serendipity!

The off-the shoulder trend exudes a romantic and sensual vibe of old school glamour.  It is feminine and can be remarkably elegant when done right. From casual chic looks featuring off-the shoulder tops worn with cut offs, to more dressed up formal ensemble looks comprising of beautiful off-the shoulder lacy frocks and jumpsuits, there is a barrage of options regardless of your personal style. It is one of the best ways to show a tasteful amount of skin for that classy chic look.

Wearing a fun floral dress with a chic ruffle top accentuated by the off shoulder neckline. This feminine dress is deftly paired with a black clutch and sky high wedges, which falls in line with the highly favored chunky heel trend of the season. I recently learned that a pair of wedges instantly improves your posture when you wear them. I started to pay attention and there is some truth to this theory. You suddenly stand taller without fighting too much for balance, as you might if you weren't a proficient wearer of stilettos.
